A man and woman were walking their two leashed dogs on the Roy Rogers Trail when they encountered two bear cubs accompanied by an adult bear. One dog broke free from its leash and chased the cubs up a tree, prompting the adult bear to pursue it. The couple lost sight of the dog and returned to call authorities.
