A cloudy view of mountainous terrain in the Northstate. (Preston Donion) Light showers from Friday continue across the region into early Saturday. Expect a few raindrops even in the valley floor as the sun comes up, with more of the action focusing over the higher elevations into the afternoon. Rain totals look light everywhere, with most communities landing between 0 and 0.1 inches of total accumulations. Locally higher totals may pop up over the eastern mountains, however, as isolated thunderstorms roll through into the second half of the day.
