The Mount Shasta City Council discussed the proposed data center during Monday's meeting. City Manager Todd Juhasz stated that the city had been contacted by an entity interested in using the former Crystal Geyser site for a data center and planned to meet with the group later in the week. City Council member Tessa Clure posted online that no project has been approved, but a private party is considering purchasing the property.
The petition lists the next county meeting as July 7, 2026, at 9 a.m., and the next Mount Shasta City Council meeting as July 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
