Redding City Council Seats Up for Grabs in November Election
Four candidates have announced their intent to run for three open seats on the Redding City Council, with a filing period that closes on August 7.

The filing period for candidates running for the Redding City Council opened today, and several individuals have already filed for candidacy. Christina Prosperi, owner of TRUE Ride cycling studio and a former Caltrans employee, is listed on the city’s candidate filing site. She’s joined by Redding planning commissioner and engineer Russ Wenham, who announced his run last month, and current council member Jack Munns.
Council member Tenessa Audette also confirmed that she plans to run for reelection, although the candidate filing site does not yet list her as having filed for candidacy.
