Deputies confirmed through digital evidence that Barraza was communicating with the juvenile on social media and picked them up from a local business earlier Thursday afternoon. The juvenile escaped after a physical altercation, and law enforcement was contacted. Deputies arrested Barraza at his home and booked him into the Tehama County Jail for various charges.
