Two Arrested After Shooting in Concow Neighborhood
Two people were arrested after a shooting investigation in the Concow neighborhood of Butte County on July 4. Multiple firearms and ammunition were seized during a search warrant at one of the suspects' homes.

Deputies with the Butte County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of shots fired in the 3000 block of Patengil Way on July 4. Two people, Kevin Medeiros, 29, and Kya Weaver, 25, were involved in a verbal altercation that led to the shooting. No injuries were reported. After detectives obtained a search warrant for Medeiros' home, deputies found multiple firearms and ammunition. Arrest warrants were issued for Medeiros for attempted murder and Weaver for felony vandalism.
Both suspects were taken into custody on July 5 without incident.
